Frequency of rate changes – We may change the interest rate on your account weekly.
Determination of rate – At our discretion we may change the interest rate on your account.
Compounding and crediting frequency – Interest will be compounded every month. Interest will be credited to your account every month.
Effect of closing an account – If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.
Minimum balance to open the account – You must deposit $25.00 to open this account.
Minimum balance to avoid imposition of fees – A monthly service charge fee of $12.00 will be imposed each statement cycle if the average daily balance for the statement cycle falls below $2,500.00. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. Monthly fee is waived if the primary (tax reporting) owner is 55 years old or older.
Daily balance computation method – We use the daily balance method to calculate interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
Accrual of interest on noncash deposits – Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of noncash items (for example, checks).
Additional terms – First Utah Bank Checks, Money Orders, Official Checks and Cashier’s Checks are provided at no cost to you. Money Orders, Official Checks, and Cashier’s Checks are limited to 3 per month. Limit one order of checks per calendar year. One free domestic wire transfer per year (fees may be imposed by beneficiary bank). Annual Safe Deposit Box rental fee discount of $15 (subject to availability and requires a one time $10 key deposit).
