Proud to be Lehi’s Community Bank

Have you heard? We recently opened a new Lehi branch! We are so excited to bring our business banking, business checking, and small business loan services to small businesses in the Lehi area. The fact is, Utah is a booming state. And as Utah’s community bank, our goal is to service the needs of small businesses in Utah’s communities, of which Lehi is most definitely one. But how much do you know about Lehi’s history? We want to offer more than small business loans in Lehi. Let’s take a deeper dive into one of our new Utah hometowns.

Lehi Has Got it All

You know what? Sometimes, it takes a while to find the right name. And the city of Lehi, Utah is one such example of that. Before it was officially incorporated in 1852 as Lehi City, the city went through quite a few names, including Sulphur Springs, Snow’s Springs, Dry Creek, and Evansville. How about that? Few cities or towns go through so many permutations. It wasn’t until the name of Lehi came along that it stuck. But what’s special about Lehi? Well, for starters, the city has a rich pioneer history and has since grown into a flourishing tech hub and a great place to settle down and raise a family. Here’s what you need to know about moving to Lehi, Utah.

To be honest, Lehi could not be more perfectly located! It is in the middle of Salt Lake City to the north and Provo to the south. Because of its central location, it is easy to get around the valley, especially when using the FrontRunner. The FrontRunner station is conveniently found right next to Thanksgiving Point (mentioned below) and can get you to the heart of Salt Lake City in about 40 minutes. The FrontRunner can also take you down south to Provo to explore the famous Brigham Young University and bustling Downtown Provo.

Looking for fantastic shopping? If so, Lehi has got everything you need. Lehi residents know when they need a little retail therapy they can get it at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain. Conveniently located right off the freeway, across from Thanksgiving Point, the Outlets at Traverse Mountain has got all stores you need to handle all your shopping needs. Even better, you can find what you need at outlet prices, unlike other “outlet” stores in the Salt Lake City area with crazy high prices. The Outlets at Traverse Mountain’s motto is that they are “Utah’s most beautiful place to save.” And it certainly is beautiful in there. They have high glass ceilings to let in the natural light but keep you dry no matter what the weather is like outside. It’s the perfect place to find great deals so you can shop without feeling bad about it.

The Beautiful Outdoors Surrounding Lehi

Utah is well-known as one of the most beautiful states in the country. And there’s a good reason why. There is an abundance of different landscapes and beautiful natural landmarks in Utah, many of which are a short drive from Lehi. Ready to get out and enjoy some fantastic outdoor adventures? If so, Lehi is a short drive into the mountains and is close to many breathtaking drives and hikes. Here are just a few examples:
